Two Pakistani government websites were hacked by some unknown hackers on 15 February, 2019. One is the official website of PCSI (Pakistan Cotton Standards Institute) and the other is the Pakistani army recruitment website which is www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. In these websites, the hackers gave their name as ‘Head Shield Hackers’ and one of them introduced him/her as ‘in73ct0r d3vil’, but there is no information who actually did this. They changed the website with a black background and posted pictures and texts related to the bitter relations between India and Pakistan. They praised India and threatened Pakistan, while, the hacked website also stated Indian government to be sleeping but the Indians are not. The hackers referred themselves to be ‘Mallus’ (Malayalam speakers from India). Currently, the PCSI website is not working due to high traffic and the other one is all sorted.
Indian government is looking upon this case and trying to resolve this issue, though, there is no hard clue that these websites were hacked by Indians or were hacked in India. It is possible that these websites being hacked by some other people than Indians. We cannot say anything about that!
Note: There is no intention to hurt any group, country or ethnicity through this blog. This is just the news which is being shared. There is no conclusion about the hack and no information is there which would conclude the victim and suspect.
