Which one to prefer, Oppo or Xiaomi?
Oppo and Xiaomi, both are Chinese companies and quite popular. Oppo is older than Xiaomi which means it may have more experience about market, but it doesn’t matter always. It is a person’s choice and demand on which he/she would decide to go for. Though, in my views, Xiaomi is way better than Oppo.
This is because,
Oppo is a brand which focuses more on advertisement and highlighting features (of a smartphone) like high quality camera, display and sensors whereas they never cared much of hardware, R&D, design, software and quality. They produce decent quality products (usually use cheap plastic) and their design/looks are very similar to Apple iPhone’s design. Oppo smartphones run on ColorOS (powered by Android) which is copied from iOS. Icons, UI and almost everything! Oppo has smartly captured markets (espcially Indian) by advertising so much that you see only Oppo hoardings and banners around the country. They even provide better money to sellers to force or attract more towards their products. There are a lot of people who actually get fooled or convinced, though some people like Oppo. People face many issues regarding it’s durability, quality, services, OS etc.
On the other hand,
Xiaomi is a brand which focuses more on quality, hardware and low cost. They make good quality products from a price range of ₹4800 to ₹48000. It is actually targeting market for budget products as well as expensive ones. You get a wide range and they give you many things in their product which you need. In terms of hardware, R&D, design, looks, manufacturing, durability and software, it is mostly uncompromising. Though, as we know that anything cannot have ALL the qualities. So, there are cases where Xiaomi users have to compromise in terms of battery life, processor related issues, heating problem and display. Still, Xiaomi is one of best brands in India.
I conclude Xiaomi is better than Oppo.
