Is it possible for an airplane to crash into the tallest building?
Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world (as on 2020) is located in Dubai, UAE. It might come to our mind of an airplane crashing into this building. Is it possible?
An airplane flies approximately 12 kilometres high from ground whereas the Burj Khalifa stands only 830 metres high. Also, while landing, the plane comes down near the landing port only, otherwise it remains in the sky. The airplane routes are actually made away from the high-rise skyscrapers around the globe. In Dubai, also, the air traffic is kept away from the high-rise buildings especially the Burj Khalifa. While construction of such structures, the constructing team and authorities make sure that any of these kind of situations are not faced in future. Government plays an important role of supervision in these activities. The tower has already received approval from General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of UAE for future preventions.
