American cinemas is one of the biggest film industry around the globe where, Indian cinemas stands the largest.

In the Deadpool and Deadpool 2 movies, there is an Indian taxi driver named Dopinder in USA. He is shown much dumb and a point of silly humour. It is not at all true that all Indians are like this. In Avengers, they have shown the Indian city, Kolkata, to be very backward, poor and unorganised. But the fact is, Kolkata is the capital of Bengal and a prime city of India! It is one of the best place to live and visit with all aspects. Talking about ‘Indiana Jones And Temple of Doom’ movie, they portrayed Indians to be tribals. I agree, that there are tribals in India, but not in that manner. India has highest number of vegetarians and vegans around the world, not at all like the ones showed in the movie, having raw meat unethically and badly. Indians worship animals and they treat them good. It is to be noted that I’m not saying that Indians are not non-vegetarians! Indians are really good in that too! Non-vegetarian Indians eat non-veg food properly in a sanitary and good manner. India contributes best of the recipes to cook food, whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian. In the movie ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’, Anil Kapoor plays a role of Brij Nath, an Indian man who is rich but flattens when sees an American woman. He is shown to be a cheap person. This not happens all the time! Indians are enriched with manners and culture. Examples like these are many more.
- I guess, all of the time Indians are shown having brown skins only. This is not the fact, there are a lot of variations and ethnicity among Indians.
- Indians are depicted to have ill-maintained body and oily skin. This is totally wrong! Indians do maintain and care for their body. Indians have one of the best fitness around the world. India produces a lot of sportsmen/sportswomen. Also, Indians are blessed with variety of vegetables, fruits and healthy recipes.
- Indians are some way or other shown to be narrow-minded, who force the youths to go for an arrange marriage and don’t promote inter-caste or inter-religion marriage. This issue was there long time back! The time has changed a lot, movie directors from The States need to defroze their mind.
- American movies try to show that Indians are absent-minded, cheap, introvert and less intelligent. I would like to put up that, Indians are in the rank of smartest people around the world. There are lakhs of great doctors, engineers, taxi drivers, professors, teachers etc. in USA! Indians are reason somewhere for running The States.
- Indian cities and places are depicted as under-developed, poor and backward places. Not at all! India has lot of great cities, tourist attractions, facilities etc.
- India doesn’t mean Mumbai, Kolkata, Goa, Kerala and Jaipur only. There is a lot more! India has many more cities and places to visit.
- All the Indian billionaires and celebrities are not only in Mumbai. They are spreaded in Delhi and NCR, Rajasthan, Goa, Kashmir and so on as well!
- Indians know English really well. India ranks 22 out of 72 countries in the 2016 EF English Proficiency Index. India contributes second largest English-speaking population. Also, Indians speak better and purer English than the Americans.
- Indians do not have a habit of praying on streets blocking roads and they don’t practices wrong practices always! There are quite less examples of them. There is no more sacrificing of animals for betterment.
- The time changed a lot, people! Indian females are highly respected and equally treated. Just look upon.
- India doesn’t have Hindus and Muslims only! India comes with almost all religions as it is a secular and democratic country. India has Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jews and so on.
- India doesn’t have all corrupted and heartless government staff like police, politicians etc.
- Kashmir, the heaven of Earth, belongs to India, not Pakistan! This was indirectly shown in ‘Mission Impossible: Fallout’ film. What are the directors up to?!
- There are some of American entrepreneurs who funded India to promote education (like Bill Gates). Indians are thankful for that and they appreciate it, but, they are not the sole who care for India to be educated and they make a large share!
- Indians are shown to be terrorists, thieves, picking pockets etc. Not at all, people! USA has majority of terrorists and thieves to be Americans only, no offense.
Note: I do not support any ethnicity, race, religion or place. All places and ethnicity have some or other issue. The thinking varies from individual to individual, not group to group. I do not want to hurt anyone’s sentiments. I respect all. I’m just putting my views on the basis of my observations.
